Death of our dear Queen, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

Wansford Parish Council offers deepest condolences to King Charles III, The Queen Consort and the Royal Family on the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and acknowledges the Queen’s outstanding service to Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Commonwealth.

As we are in a period of National Mourning, and out of respect for our Queen, Wansford Parish Council will postpone its Parish Council meeting which was scheduled to be held on Monday, 12 September 2022 in the Community Hall. That meeting will be rearranged after the Queen’s State Funeral which Buckingham Palace have confirmed will take place on Monday, 19 September 2022

Wansford Parish Council understands that parishioners may want to express their condolences on the death of our dear Queen and for this purpose it has made available to parishioners a Book of Condolence to sign in St Mary’s Church, Wansford, during the period of National Mourning between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Parishioners who are unable to visit St Mary’s Church may wish to offer their condolences through the Royal Family’s website on the following link:
