Wansford Community’s Tribute to our dear Queen Elizabeth II and Welcome to King Charles III with three cheers!

Wansford Parish Council invite all Wansfordian from both sides of the bridge to come along to a short ceremony to pay tribute to HM Queen Elizabeth II and to give three cheers to King Charles III. The ceremony will take place after the Queen’s funeral on Monday, 19 September 2022 at 6.45 p.m. by the Beacon at The Stables on the Old Leicester Road, Wansford. It is expected to last about half an hour only. Wansfordians will be offered a free glass of wine or lemonade to toast our new King by the burning beacon!
