I would appreciate it if you could draw your members’ attention to a talk to be held at The Cedar Centre in Castor on Thursday the 19th of October. We are hosting a return visit from Steve Pollington, author, broadcaster and speaker on the early English period. He enthralled our audience last time with his ability to speak Anglo Saxon/Early English. The talk will begin at 7p.m. and there will be a bar and refreshments for sale. His talk is entitled ‘A History of the English – the First 1000 years’ We hope to have the talk available on Zoom too.
